Retention and fact checks

Two checks on the Write tab that catch problems before you film: where viewers are likely to leave, and which claims don't hold up.

Retention check (free)

Runs instantly on every script and updates as you edit. It flags the places viewers most often leave:

  • A slow opening—too long before the video gets going.

  • A generic first line, like a greeting or "in this video I'll…".

  • Asking for subscribes, sponsors or links before the first payoff.

  • A hook that never mentions what the title promised.

  • Long stretches of talking with no visual change, example or reset.

It also shows roughly how long the script takes to read aloud.

Web fact check

Searches the web for each checkable claim in the script—statistics, dates, named studies, records—and marks it supported, disputed or unverified, with sources and a suggested fix for anything disputed. It costs 2 credits and never changes your script.

Checks are advisors, not editors. You decide what to change.
