What uses credits, what is included, how to read the estimate before you start, and habits that stretch your monthly allowance.

Credits pay for things the AI produces for you—scripts, research, packaging. Organising, checking and chatting are included. You always see the cost before you run something, and a new video shows the estimate for a full draft before you start.

Included with every plan

  • The assistant (⌘K) and chat.

  • Channel Brain—including drafting it from your channel and learning from your edits.

  • The retention check on Write.

  • Post-publish reviews at 2, 7 and 28 days, and the channel lessons they produce.

  • Writing assists, the scene plan, and regenerations within guardrails.

What uses credits

  • A full long-form video from idea to finished script: about 21 credits (title options 2, thumbnail concept 2, outline 1, script 2 per scene). A Short: about 11.

  • Competitor video breakdown: 5 (the visual analysis is included). Compare several videos: 4. Channel profile: 12.

  • Live voice interview: 5 per session (up to 15 minutes). Web fact check: 2. Thumbnail mockups: 3.

Exact numbers are always on the button. Your plan's credits reset monthly; top-ups and upgrades are under Settings → Credits.

Stretching your credits

  • Fewer scenes cost less—pick a tighter scene budget for shorter videos.

  • Redo only the part of a pitch you don't like; each part redraws on its own.

  • Use the free retention check before paying for rewrites.

  • Research the two or three most relevant competitor videos rather than everything new.

Models

Each action runs on the model best suited to it, chosen by your administrator. Routine steps use fast, economical models; scripts and the assistant use stronger ones. Research that watches videos uses a model that can see video. You don't need to pick a model to get good results.

If generations feel generic, improve your Channel Brain and pitch before anything else—that's the biggest lever on quality.
